Born in Southeast D.C. and raised on comic books, sarcasm, and hip/hop, Ceph Boogie represents the gap between mainstream entertainment and underground subcultures. Growing up with artist like Wu-Tang Clan, Queen, and Curren$y as well as being influenced by 90's sneaker culture alongside 80's street art. Ceph paints vivid pictures of life through his eyes. Rhymes filled with awkward swagger, witty wordplay and obscure movie quotes make Ceph stand out from the growing market of post "Hipster hop" emcees and future one hit wonders that saturate hip hop now days. A 2009 graduate of Duke Ellington School of the Arts, Ceph is currently enrolled at Norfolk State University where he majors in Graphic Design. As 2010 closes to an end and 2011 approaches Ceph plans to finally release his debut LP and produce tracks for fellow DC emcees like Marty McFly and Akzionz.
